In 2008, the owner, Marnitz Kritzinger, immigrated from South Africa to the Okanagan. Having had an Electrical Contracting company in SA for 10-years, the dream was always to start one in Canada again. In Kelowna, he worked for two of the largest contractors in the Okanagan. He left for the Alberta Oil Sands in 2013 and worked as a Construction Electrician for 2-years and then as a Maintenance Electrician on a Suncor site for 3-years.In 2018, Impact MEP Services Group Ltd was founded in the Okanagan Valley by Marnitz, who believed that electrical and data infrastructure work deserved a higher standard — better planning, tighter execution, and zero shortcuts on safety or quality. We are proud to be one of UBC Okanagan's trusted service providers for data and electrical.
Over 8 years, we've grown from a small local crew into a full-service contractor trusted by home owners, commercial developers and industrial operators across British Columbia. Our work spans everything from 600V service entries to 14km fiber backbone installations.
